Foreign Rights

Chaired by Carmen Castillo, Atlantyca Entertainment’s Foreign Rights department focuses on the sale of translation rights for Geronimo Stilton books and all spin-offs, as well as an estimated 1,700 titles related to other properties, including “Bat Pat”, “Berry Bees”, and “Snow Black.” The division maintains 8000+ contracts for translations into about 60 languages and is the appointed agent for leading Italian and European publishing houses. Through its participation in major trade fair events in Bologna, London, Beijing and Frankfurt, the Foreign Rights department maintains a constant foothold on the international market. Since 2010, the division’s subsidiary based-in Beijing, which serves the Far East, has become one of the leading agents in this outpost through direct relationships with about 40 publishers there.
